Brighten up your Christmas decorations this year with a quick DIY project that is simple but adds a beautiful touch to your Christmas displays.

Decorating for Christmas is a favorite of mine! When available, I use real pine tucked in everything and everywhere, and I really enjoy crafting and creating my own decor touches to all the natural elements. Today, I am sharing a very simple craft that is great for Christmas but could also be used for anytime of the year.
I went with the Christmas theme for this jar, but designs are endless. You could make these for all kinds of special occasions, such as baby or bridal showers, anniversary or birthday parties, or even church events.
Supplies you will need:
a small glass jar
material of your choice to cover the jar
decorations for the jar
glue gun/glue stick
small battery operated tea light.

For this craft, I am using a small yogurt jar. (Any smaller glass jar would work though. Note: A plastic jar will melt if using a glue gun. )
Once you have cleaned the jar, measure the material to the size of the jar, cut, and hot glue to the jar.
I like to use homespun material. Depending on what time of year it is, you could use any pattern that you like.

2. Next, decorate the jar. Using the hot glue gun to attach, you can add natural-looking elements like baby pine cones or pine or pick up some berries or floral pieces from the local craft or dollar store.
3. Add your tea light and you are done.

You could make these for all kinds of special occasions. They would make the cutest party favors for baby or bridal showers, or add beautiful table decor to a birthday, anniversary, or church events. Just use your imagination and start creating!
Here are a couple of different photos with different themes on the jars.
Send me a photo of your jar creations! I would love to see them! Have an awesome and blessed day!
